On 18-22 October 2015, WIDEST, a H2020 CSA coordinated by Eurecat, was present in the ICT2015 event in Lisbon. This event is organized by the EC, and most relevant research and business players in the ICT field were present.
In this event, all projects from the ICT4Water cluster were present in a stand in which latest advances and results from their research efforts were exhibited. A massively attended networking session regarding the role of Smart Water in Smart Cities completed the event. The stand was open to the citizen and was glad to receive the visit of the members of the EC, including the European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, Günther Oettinger, the General Director of DG Communications Networks, Content and Technology, Roberto Viola, and the Director of Net Futures, Mario Campolargo, together with regional political representatives
